STAFF WELLNESS DAYS / STAFF HEALTH SURVEYS & ASSESSMENTS
The initial Staff Wellness
Assessment / Health Check is done
with a fun element to ascertain the current health, need for interventions,
staff feedback and overall risk factors of staff.
Gathering info by way of health
checks (Glucose pricks, Blood Pressure, BMI, Health Survey).
Separate demographics into
smokers & non-smokers, those that exercise etc and make comparison with
sick leave, work performance etc – Determine cost to company / loss of
productivity as a result of being unhealthy / smoking, high amount of
controllable risk factors.
Results are processed and
findings complied for reporting to EXCO and staff feedback. Allows HealthCubed to ascertain
the need for a wellness intervention (through health results and survey) and
assists me to design proposal around education, awareness and focus of
intervention.
Based on findings of comparisons
on health, wellness VS smoking vs Performance – COST TO COMPANY is calculated
and company CFO and HR Manager are
met with to decide on reward based incentive – whatever is decided - issued in
the form of a “loan” (example: Additional leave days issued as a loan and are
repayable with interest if staff member starts smoking again.
Examples are
1. Spa treatments at
the office for non-smokers (manicures pedicures, massages)
2. Additional leave
days for non-smokers
HealthCubed facilitate the
contract with HR and staff and perform 4-5 random saliva tests to test for
Nicotine. If positive but denied – then bloods are drawn to ascertain. If
failure to comply – incentive is repaid according to contract.
BENEFITS: Company has a healthier,
more productive staff base. (We determine the exact loss of productivity prior to
finalizing reward and confirming with relatively accuracy, what the return on
investment would be should the workforce be 100% NON SMOKERS.
Both through staff
feedback survey and health conditions measured (blood pressure / stress levels)
Health Cubed have 5 Beauty therapists working full time. Service: Either a temporary
SPA area is set up at the client and scheduled treatments are booked ahead of time
(Manicures, Pedicures, Massages, Facials),

At the desk shoulder, neck and
head massage and hand treatment of required.
